Andhra Pradesh has announced the prestigious felicitation Nandi Awards for their exceptional work in the Telugu cinema for the years 2014 to 2016. Nandamuri Balakrishna bagged the Best Actor award for his power-packed performance in the Super Hit movie 'Legend' which was directed by Boyapati Srinu.
The same movie also bagged the Best Film Award and Jagapathi Babu grabbed the Best villain award. Mahesh Babu's son Gautam grabs the Best Child Artist award for 'Nenokkadine' which got released in 2014. Also, Mahesh himself grabbed an award for the Best Actor for his commendable performance in the movie 'Srimanthudu'.
S.S.Rajamouli's 'Baahubali' bagged the Best Film Award. In 2016, Junior NTR grabbed the best actor award for his solid performance in Sukumar's 'Nannaku Prematho' and the critically acclaimed sleeper hit 'Pelli Choopulu' won the Best Film Award for the year 2016.
Chiranjeevi has been conferred with the prestigious Raghupathi Venkayya Award. Rajinikanth, Raghavendra Rao and Kamal Haasan are honored with the NTR National Awards for 2014,15 and 16 respectively.
