With the bifurcation of AP on cards, all possibilities are being explored by several agencies and administrative officers. With Hyderabad designated as the common capital, sources say the hunt has begun for the secretariat for the new state of AP which will comprise Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra.
With the existing secretariat all set to be allotted for Telangana, sources say that bureaucrats have already begun the exercise and in this regard they are considering Mythrivanam, Mythrivihar, Swapnalok Complex and others while media sources say HPS (Hyderabad Public School) in Begumpet may be the ideal choice.
Sources say the building has all the attributes to function as a secretariat while the existing school and administration facilities may have to be moved towards some other structure. All this reworking and exercise is surely going to stop all functioning of the government in a big way.
