Hyderabad sources have stated that though Mukesh Goud served as a minister in the Congress government under Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy, K. Rosaiah and Kiran Kumar Reddy, he was defeated with a huge margin of over 45,000 votes by BJP's Raja Singh Rathod from Goshamahal Assembly constituency in 2014.
Meanwhile the only incident that brought him to the headlines was when his son Vikram Goud shot himself to enact a drama in July last. Further according to sources, Mukesh was trying to join TRS for quite some time now but the CM was not so enthusiastic to induct him given his negative image.
However, some influential middlemen have reportedly
negotiated a deal with KCR to admit Mukesh into the party and moreover along
with father, Vikram Goud is also likely to join TRS in couple of days.
