The Hindu Jagaran Manch religious outfit in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh warned schools from the celebration of Christmas, as they stated that celebrating Christmas is a way to convert people to Christianity. Sonu Savita, the leader of Mahanagar branch of the outfit declared that taking gifts and sweets for Christmas occasion affects the mindset of kids/ students.

Sonu Savita spoke to ANI when she revealed that their outfit had warned schools of Uttar Pradesh not to impose Christian celebrations as they are used by Christians to convert people to their religion, and also warned that if any of the schools is seen celebrating Christmas, a protest will be initiated by the outfit.


Further, she went on to add that the Hindu Jagaran Manch is against such religious conversions and as of now they have only issued a warning against the celebration of Christmas and if anyone violates the pressure put and celebrates Christmas, suppressing Hindus, and trying to convert them to Christianity, legal action will be taken.
