After police banned Sunny Leone and the new year celebrations featuring her in Bangalore after protest threats by Karnataka Yuva Sena, the citizens aren't happy with the ban. Members of Bengaluru political action committee said that she's an entertainer and she can never be a threat to security and police doing such bans instead of tightening security is inappropriate.
Another member of citizens of Bangalore organization was quoted saying this meant the inability of cops to maintain law and order in the state. Meanwhile, there are other members of the same organization who support the cops as they believe that prevention is better than cure, especially in the wake of events last year.
Sunny Leone was initially slated to perform for the new year celebration party at White orchid hotel at Nagavara but the same was cancelled as Sunny Leone's entry was banned after protests by Karnataka Yuva Sena members who threatened that they'll cause unrest in the city, besides also committing mass suicide, which lead to police banning Sunny Leone.
