Chidambaram made a statement in Rajya Sabha that Central Govt begins formation of Telangana formalities. Congress decided not to go back from Telangana. SA agitation may be useful to extend the period of common Capital as Hyderabad. On other side agitation in SA reached in peak. Congress Leaders of SA openly criticized Congress High Command. Politically there seems lot of changes in SA region in 2014 elections.
16 of YSRCP MLAs resigned for United Andhra two days prior to the announcement of UPA for Telangana. By its dual stand on Telangana, YSRCP lost its existence in the region. They also demand for resignations of TDP and Congress in SA region. Party targets TDP on Congress favorable decision towards Telangana. As per the version of Congress and YSRCP leaders that CBN letter compels the Congress High Command to take the decision in favor of Telangana. Digvijay make a statement that under the leadership of YSR AP assembly passed the resolution on Telangana in 2009 before elections. YSRCP seeks the initial advantage from its MLAs resignation in SA. After taking two days strategic silence TDP enters into the scene. Starting from CBN and Hari Krishna followed by all TDP SA leaders saying that the party is not against Telangana, they argued on interests of their region. TDP played a very safe political game without harming it’s political interests in both sides. TDP too starts that YSR is the reason for the formation of Telangana. TDP speed up it’s agitations in SA. It called for 48 hrs bandh in Kadapa dt. Now it’s million dollar question towards whom anti-vote shifted in SA region? YSRCP fights against the division and TDP fights the way of division.
All these developments create troubles to the Congress in SA region. Most of the leaders have believed that it’s not possible for their win on Congress party tickets. They started for the search of alternatives in various segments. As per Analysts, leaders like Gaade Venkata Reddy, Anantha Venkata RemiReddy, SPY Reddy, Sai Pratap, Vatti Vasanth Kumar, Shesha Reddy (Anaparthy) and other leaders in SA region might join in YSRCP for 2014 elections. As per them Congress will bite the dust in 2014 elections. As per political Analysts that it’s Triangular fight exist in Telangana (Assuming that TRS not merge into Congress) and Face to face in SA between (TDP and YSRCP).
