According to sources the Congress Party Member of Parliament had traded barbs with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on stage at a public event and the Telugu Desam Party leaders had tried to grab Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy after YSRCP leader had given credit to former CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy in Gandikota irrigation project.
He said 85% of the project was completed during his tenure and made this statement at a gram Sabha which was chaired by the CM at Pulivendula which is a part of the Janma Bhoomi program. Avinash continued speaking about how people will never forget the contributions which was made by YSR.
Meanwhile the CM intervened and stopped YSRCP MP’s
speech and stated ‘This is not a political meeting, but it is a government
program and ensured water to Pulivendula even before his hometown. Later YS
Jagan said TDP government has not been able to complete the remaining work
because of corruption and he would bring back Rajanna Rajyam is YSRCP is voted
to power in 2019 elections.
