Chennai sources have made a statement that the transport strike continues in Tamilnadu and the state government has warmed transport employees to resume work. In a statement, Tamilnadu transport minister has asked the employees to return back to work immediately. Tamilnadu bus strike continues despite Madras High Court’s order.
Meanwhile the transport minister has warned the employees and had stated that if strike immediate action will be taken against those who are violating the rules and who are creating menace. Moreover the high court yesterday directed the transport unions to call off the strike.

have stated that the strike by transport workers' unions in Tamilnadu left
scores of commuters stranded at bus stops in various parts of the state on
Friday morning. A large number of people were seen queued up waiting for the
private buses at the different bus stops. Many able and disabled people are
facing many problems because of the strike. School going students are having
tough time and all commuters are in a situation not knowing what will happen
next.
