Sources have stated that presently a clear violation of child rights at a Telangana hostel has attention of many on a camera, where two young boys were asked to stand upside down by a hostel warden with a long pipe in his hand. Meanwhile the boys have their feet against a wall and when it slips and falls and the warden immediately hits them with the pipe twice until they are back to upside position.
The shocking video is making viral round the social media and the incident had happened at a District ST hostel in a place called Zaheerabad and further the man in the video has been identified as hostel warden S. Yadaiah and the students were in class seven who are punished for not attending classes on a regular basis.
Further child rights activist Achyuta Rao said that
his organization is planning to approach the State Human Rights Commission over
the issue. According to him punishing students is an offence and this way of
harsh punishment is absolutely shocking and he said strict action should be
taken against the accused.
