The vice president Venkaiah Naidu, had visited the houses of one of the BJP MPs in Bengaluru, only to return home barefoot, as the senior BJP leader was given a shock as someone had stolen his slippers much to his shock. It's a common phenomenon of people losing their slippers at public places like temples, Marriage functions etc, but the same happening to a national leader, has become a huge embarrassment.
Reportedly, Venkaiah Naidu had visited the house of BJP MP Mohan for having breakfast, and this casual meeting had lasted for more than an hour, when Venkaiah was welcomed by his well-wishers and party members gathered there. Central minister Sadhanandha Gowda, Karnataka MLAs Jagdish Shettar and Ravi had also met Venkaiah Naidu during the visit.
As Venkaiah
came out of the home to start his journey, he was shocked to see his slippers
missing, and even the security guards couldn't find it. It has been believed
that since a lot of people came to meet him, someone from the crowd must have
mistook his slippers for theirs and taken it. Immediately his guards rushed to
get him new shoes and this sudden confusion lead to disruption of his schedule.
