Now-a-days resignations made just for divert the media attention from the root cause not for public interests. Political leaders on both sides use separate Telangana issue to the maximum extent for their interests. After the general elections completed in 2009, many members went for resignations for Telangana and for United Andhra. They made an announcement in presence of media that we did resignations in Speaker Format. They got enough publicity among the public and in media.
Resignations started just two days before Congress will make it’s announcement on Telangana. Veerasiva Reddy followed by 16 YSRCP MLAs have resigned against Telangana. After some time Congress party MLAs joined in the moment against it’s High Command decision. Though it was late, TDP representatives started their resignations saying against the way of division of the state. Except Botsa, all representatives resigned in Vijayanagaram from all parties. 90% of the representatives resigned for the positions in SA.
As per the Assembly sources, none of the resignations reached to the office of Assembly Speaker or Loksabha Speaker. Though they resigned in specific Speaker Format resignations not reached to respective offices and some of them made Fax their resignations to Speakers. Political leaders are trying to made public fool. It’s just political drama.
