A resident of Old City, an M.Tech student has entered the Guinness Book of World Records for his achievement of ‘fastest typing on the keyboard’. Shaik Ashraf, who hails from Madina Colony, Falaknuma, finally succeeded in his attempt to create a world record in two categories after numerous failed attempts.

While he recorded the "fastest time to type the alphabets A to Z with spaces" in 3.37 seconds, he had completed the other record of "fastest time to type the alphabets blindfolded from A to Z with spaces" in a record 4.13 seconds. Shaik Ashraf said that he had recorded the feats on camera and had the videos to the headquarters of Guinness World Records. After a detailed study and verification of the authenticity of the videos, he was finally awarded the recognition.

It must be noted that his first attempt in May 2017 was rejected as he had not submitted videos according as per the regulations set by Guinness world records. Shaik Ashraf now has three Guinness records to his credits, including the new records, as in 2015 itself he had set a record for fastest time to type 1 to 50, which he achieved in a stunning 14.88 seconds. His records are still unbeaten.
