New Delhi sources have stated that President Ram Nath Kovind today addressed the nation for the first time on the eve of 69th Republic Day of India. In his address to the nation, he touched on a range of topics including the pre-independence struggle, cultural harmony, eradicating poverty and others. He said a nation with a sense of selflessness is built by citizens and by a society that embraces selflessness.
Meanwhile voluntary groups clean public places such
as beaches and rivers and makes our country valuable. He added Republic is its
people. Citizens do not just make up and preserve a Republic and they are its
ultimate stakeholders and in fact pillars. Each one of us is a pillar and
moreover the soldier who defends our Republic and the farmer who feeds our
Republic.
Moreover
he stated that every citizen of the country has equal rights and the citizens
are the pillars of democracy. Further the youths should be innovative, that
will help transform India. We have achieved substantially in increasing
the literacy rate but we still have a long way to go. Accordingly
education and Health must be our priority and hopes are pinned on youth. We can
feel satisfied only after eradicating poverty from our nation. Feel proud to be
an Indian. Jai Hind.
