According to sources A USA based woman bought a ticket for her peacock named Dexter a ticket as well to join her in flight to Los Angeles from New York airport. But the airline's management refused her stating that the animal failed to meet the guidelines in terms of weight and size. Accordingly the pictures show the woman walking into the airport carrying her peacock on shoulders.
Meanwhile the peacock is anticipated to belong to Brooklyn based artist Ventiko
who adopted him in 2014 especially for an art project. Furthermore there exists
an Instagram page of Dexter, the peacock which posted that he spent 6 hours
trying to get on his flight and his human friends are driving him cross country
tomorrow.
Moreover at a time when people are being thrown out of planes for their religion and race, it's a wonder to see in the United States that now a fuss is going on for a peacock being not allowed. Presently the Delta Airlines issued a statement saying that animals need to meet guidelines and regulations for boarding their flights.
