According to sources Telangana State Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao received a rude shock as the union government did not take into consideration the pleas made by KCR government. Meanwhile Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not accept even a single request of KCR. Moreover out of Rs 50,000 crore proposals, Telangana requested the union government to provide Rs 19,000 crore for Mission Bhagiratha, Rs 5,000 crore to Mission Kakatiya and Rs 10,000 crore allocations to the prestigious Kaleshwaram Irrigation project. 



Earlier Niti Ayog already approved the two Missions taken up by the TS government and recommended the centre for the release of funds last year. The other proposals steel plant at the cost of Rs 10,000 crore, railway coach factory worth Rs 3,000 crore, AIIMS and Horticulture university with Rs 500 crore and another Rs 500 crore grants for the residential educational institutions established for SC, ST, BC and Minority communities this year.

Sources have added that the other schemes pertaining to rural and urban development at the cost of Rs 2,000 crore were also forwarded to the centre requesting it to sanction funds in the budget. Meanwhile ahead of 2019 elections, KCR planned to introduce many schemes in the next budget.
