Karimnagar sources have stated that two youngsters from Rajasthan were arrested here in Karimnagar by the task force police for duping a man by selling fake gold. Sources have stated that the police have stated that the accused identified as Solanki Ramesh and Raju Akash, native of Naradhara village in Sirohi district of Rajasthan state. The accused is to select a region and set up a makeshift tent. Moreover they try to earn goodwill of the locals by claiming that they have come to the place to make business of plastic goods.



Recently, a man from Makarampur village in the district was trapped by them to shell out Rs 5 lakh. Further couple of days ago, the duo befriended a man named Mallaiah at Karimnagar Bus Shelter by claiming that they had 20 tulas of gold and offered him for just Rs 50,000 while its original value is about Rs 5 lakh in the market.

Furthermore believing their words, Mallaiah returned with Rs 50,000 to purchase the gold. The duo took the money and slipped away, while Mallaiah went to goldsmith to test the gold. Realizing that he was duped, he immediately approached the police and lodged a complaint. Presently the police have arrested Ramesh and Akash and are investigating.
