Hyderabad sources have stated that to take head on with the ruling TRS party the Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) Chairman Prof Kodandaram Reddy informed his decision to float a new political party. Accordingly the announcement came on the sidelines of TJAC General Body Meeting held at Turkayamjal in Ranga Reddy district.



He informed English daily that "We need to form a political party to fulfill dreams and aspirations of Telangana people while TJAC will continue to retain its apolitical face. The decision was taken after a pressing demand from TJAC leaders who attended the meeting”. Meanwhile he further added that chief minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao failed to address the issues at the grassroots and is only giving sops to woo the farmers keeping in view of the coming elections.

Further he pointed out that "TRS has only compensated handful of families over the death of farmers with meager amount instead of ex-gratia of Rs 6 lakh”. Moreover when talking about his modus-operandi of reaching people, he said they have chalked out action plans like bike rallies and padayatras.
