A child's diary had left her mother in shock, as it gave her shocking revelations of the child's father having an incest relationship with her. In a shocking turn of events, Steven Pladl left his wife and left to live with his 20-year-old daughter Katie Pladl, after also fathering her child. Steve's wife found this fact, after reading through her child's journal, where it was mentioned of her incestuous affair with her own father, who also made her pregnant with his child.
When the mother questioned Steve on this illegitimate affair, he left her and traveled to Knightdale, North Carolina which is 150 miles from their home, along with Katie. As a matter of fact, the couple had given Katie for adoption when she was a child, but she came in touch with her real parents when she turned 18, through the social network. Katie started to live with her biological parents, in 2016, along with their other 2 kids, before Steve's wife divorced him. Steve's wife also said that Steve would often sleep in the floor of Katie's room, and had also told his other children, to call their eldest sister as their stepmom, as reported by police.
In
2017 November, an arrest warrant was issued against the illegitimate couple,
following which a search was done, and at the location, they were traced to,
they found a four-month-old child. Detained in the Wake County Detention
Center, and all set to be extradited to Virginia, the couple Steve and Katie
Pladl are charged with delinquency, adult incest, and adultery accusations.
