According to sources from Florida in another fatal shooting incident in the US, at least 17 people were killed at a school in Florida. Accordingly the heinous crime happened on Wednesday in a high school in Parkland, Florida. Presently the 19 year old former student Nikolas Cruz is in police custody. Meanwhile the Police believe the suspect pulled the fire alarm to draw students out of classrooms and thus increase the number of casualties.
Meanwhile the school authorities said that they had trained the students to face such situations, but still, they couldn't save the seventeen lives, of students and staff, that were taken in the carnage. An anguished parent told "He feels that our government and our country has failed us, failed our kids in keeping us safe".
Accordingly Cruz, the suspect, was expelled earlier for unspecified
disciplinary reasons. Investigators believe this could be the motive for him to
go on a shooting spree. Furthermore the investigators said the suspect used a 223
caliber, AR-15 style firearm in the mass shooting. US President Donald Trump
said "No child, teacher or anyone else should ever feel unsafe in an
American school".
