Priyanka Chopra, the Bollywood Diva and former miss world, who had once shot for an advertisement for the PNB fraud case prime accused Nirav Modi's jewelry brands, is currently on the lookout for legal opinions to quit her contracts.
It was very recently that the Punjab national bank found that Nirav Modi had allegedly did a fraud of 11400 crores, by using fraudulent undertaking letters from a Mumbai branch to get credits from overseas lenders. Dismissing rumors that PC was planning to take legal action on Modi, her spokesperson said that she's only looking forward to end her contract.
Meanwhile, Siddharth Malhotra, who
had starred in the ad with PC said he's not taking legal action, as his
contract had ended already. It must be noted that, once Nirav Modi has even
featured in Forbes list of richest Indians, and he was placed 47th. Recently,
post the accusations on Nirav Modi, the enforcement directorate had raided many
places, for the 280 Crore money laundering case connected to the jeweler.
