Diggy Raja today blamed the YSRC of working against the spirit and aspirations of YSR . YSR had inked the demand for Telagnana in the memorandum to Sonia Gandhi in 2003 and he was the architect of electoral alliance with the TRS and promoted even a resolution for achieving consensus on Telagnana.
He said by resigning their elected seats in parliament and assembly the YSRC was trying tom create a panic reaction in the already boiling regional conflict in Andhra Pradesh. Strangely enough Digvijay Singh gave clean chit to CM Kiran and said Kiran had done no wrong in speaking out the mind of the seemandhra people and their fears on water, power and jobs . ‘Only now we wish he speaks before the Antony committee the same issues so that it will be taken note of for action ‘
Digvijay singh also said special package will also be in the offing for the backward regions of coastal Andhra and also Rayalaseema along with package for Telagnana districts .
