While  the state is  boiling over  separate statehood issue, a Hyderabadi is busy buying a buffalo at a cost of Rs. 25 lakh . A city based  milk vendor has bought  it and its  seller  In Hyderabad  is also  spending Rs.Two lakhs on a fare well party for the prized buffalo .Nearly  2000 guests , an orchestra and  feast  organised for the party  in  which the buffalo  which gave  22.5 l  liters of milk per day  is handed over to a farmer from AP farmer from AP  .

The buffalo, Lakshmi, which was the show-stopper buffalo at the Murrah catwalk in Jind two years ago, is being decked up with ornaments worth Rs.25, 000.A special clothing and also  will be  brought to  Hyderabad in an air conditioned container .

 Haryana farmer says he did not want to sell the buffalo. So, he had quoted an exorbitant sum of Rs 25 lakh for the buffalo to be sold but the Andhra farmer accepted. Her highest milk yield in one day is 28 litres, he said. Four-and-a-half year-old Lakshmi's third calf is due next month.If everything goes well the  high yielding Buffalo  will land in Hyderabad by month end  and is owned by a major milk producer of Doodhbowli in old city of Hyderabad.
