For people interested to join Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's new political party Makkal Neethi Maiam, a new website Maiam.com has been created. In a quick span of just 6 months, the versatile actor has begun a political journey and eyes to bring a new phase and development in Tamilnadu politics.
While he started his political march yesterday starting from former president APJ Abdul Kalam's house in Rameswaram, he traveled to Manamadurai, Paramakudi and finally Madurai, where he announced his party name and flag, with rousing reception from the general public. Kamal's team has started with an action plan to adopt and develop 8 villages, and make them into model villages. While Kamal had expected that he'll be invited for the all party meet on Cauvery water sharing dispute, he wasn't invited, but he has however decided to move on with his tasks in Chennai.
He has initiated registration of
members for his party, through a website Maiam.com, where there are several
basic details like Name, Mobile number, Email ID, Date of Birth, following
which an OTP will be sent to the mobile number using which the people can get
registered to Kamal's Makkal Needhi Maiam party.
