Popular Jeweler Nirav Modi hogged limelight after he was accused in a 11400 crore scam involving him and the Punjab National Bank, in which he had got fraudulent undertaking letters for getting overseas credits from lenders. The Enforcement Directorate had even made numerous raids all over the country in association with this scam by Modi.
However, besides Modi, even Priyanka Chopra and Siddharth Malhotra received attention, as they were brand ambassadors of his jewellery brand. Now, the actress has terminated her contract.
Previously Priyanka Chopra's
spokesperson had said that there was no genuineness in the news spreading that
PC had sued Nirav Modi, and that she was seeking legal opinion to end her
contract. While Siddharth's contract had ended luckily much earlier, PC's contract
had not, and posts the huge controversy and she has now ended the contract,
getting a welcome relief.
