Telangana Chief Minister KCR who is currently touring Adilabad, Peddapalli and Mancherial districts escaped by a whisker as his chopper got fire and smoke were emitted from a bag in the chopper he was traveling in. The security who were with him panicked and they took the Chief Minister to safety.
This shocking incident happened when KCR was about to leave from a Helipad in Karimnagar. The security personnel threw the bag 100 meters away from the chopper and they took KCR to safety. After some time, reports confirmed that the smoke erupted from a VHF Communication device faced a short circuit.
IT Minister KT Rama Rao confirmed that KCR is fine and an inquiry has been ordered to find the right reason. For past few days, KCR is touring with respect to Farmers Coordination Committee regional meetings. He is expected to lay the foundation stone for underground mines in Macherial.
