The 2014 elections are fast approaching and the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu is seeing a ray of hope that his party has a chance of taking power in Andhra Pradesh. But the important point is the election manifesto and canvassing agenda. Regarding that, it is heard Naidu is working on using the image of his father-in-law N T Rama Rao.

The 2004 elections saw the NTR factor playing a key role and people got connected to it but whether the same impact will be seen in the 2014 public remains to be seen. Congress has always gained by using the image of Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi but can NTR create the same wave like before?

Sources say Naidu is having series of closed door meetings with party seniors on whether to put NTR image in front and drive the campaigning or make him look more like a godfather. It is heard that a strategy will be to entrust Balakrishna with NTR’s campaigning while Naidu will concentrate on progress and public welfare along with attacking Congress.
