Recently, the Indian Cricketer Mohammed Shami's wife Hasin Jahan had given a complaint with the Kolkata Police that Shami had affairs with numerous women, and had beaten and tortured her. Following this complaint, even Shami's name didn't feature in the contract list of BCCI, following all the incidents.
Shami has opened up on this issue in an interview. Shami said that there was no iota of truth in the complaints given by his wife, and he also said that, though his wife had complained that he had been torturing and beating her for the past 5 years, as a contrasting fact, their marriage had happened only 4 years back. Shami said that this was a conspiracy to tarnish his image, and he still wants to live with his wife and children.
He said that he had even supported
his wife when people in Facebook criticized her for not wearing Purdah. Shami
said that the number shows by his wife doesn't belong to him, and he had been
living a happy life with her, and even during the recent India tour of South
Africa, he had taken for Shopping following which they even celebrated Holi
together happily. Though his wife has transformed to bad, his father in law had
spoken well. Shami said that he hopes to unite with his wife soon.
