A recent incident of a Headmaster molesting a student in Haryana has created shock waves across the country. This incident has happened in a private school located in Haryana's Sonipat area's Kohana city. The victim happens to be a former student of the school.
The Headmaster of the school had demanded a bribe of Rs 10000 for passing the student in physical education exams. Besides demanding money, the principal had also instructed the girl and her father to come to a house at the remote corner of the city. As the girl and her father reached the house, the Principal said that he had arranged for another girl to write the exams in her place, and told the girl's father to leave her in the house, till the exams are over.
As her dad left her in the house,
and returned after sometime, he found his daughter crying, and she said that
the principal had molested her, adding that two other girls in the house helped
him in molesting her. Following this incident, the parent filed a police
complaint, and the principal as well as the girls who helped him are facing a
criminal case under sections of harassment. The victim has been given counseling
currently.
