Despite heavy troubles given to people with demonetization, to the traders and businessmen with the implementation of GST, and the constant failures and non implementation of promised and proposed government schemes leading to a drastic economic downfall, the Modi lead government has been in the rule yet. However, the situation has now deteriorated further. The Modi lead BJP had won the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, winning by a majority of 282 seats, and coming to rule.

It was after 30 years that a party had formed a rule at the centre with majority, With BJP winning only 3 out of the 17 by polls after their Lok Sabha victory; it has been obvious that the Modi wave has reached an all time low. In such a situation, the central government didn't implement the promised Special category status to Andhra Pradesh, besides, the refusal of finance minister Arun Jaitley to even listen to the request of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Following this development, Chandrababu Naidu instructed his two MPs to resign, and also exited out of the NDA alliance.

While the southern states have joined against BJP, even UP and West Bengal are together against Modi. Post the by polls, the parliament strength o BJP has come down to 272, and after numerous issues like Banking, economy, and now this political crisis scenario, it is going to be extremely tough for BJP to fight and win the other parties.
