Recently, a video of a girl, instructing and insisting bikers who used the footpath to drive through and escape the traffic, and stopping them despite their non-willingness to listen, has become viral. The video has the girl, Manju Thomas, telling the bikers to get back to the road, while they are firm in their stand of not listening to her until the crowd arrives in her support, and they also tell them to follow her advice.

Manju, 27 was waiting in the bus stop when the men decided to make use of the footpath to escape the peak traffic, and that was when she jumped in to stop them, and without losing patience despite hearing disrespectful words from the bikers, stood firm, and made them follow the rules. Manju Thomas is an HR professional, who had entered the city in 2013, and as she said, she has been witnessing bikers riding in footpath, honking and driving away the pedestrians, and in one such instance, she was herself cornered in a footpath, making her decide that she has to take some step as an individual, to stop this.

Following this incident, she herself got into action every time she happened to see a biker on the footpath and made them get back to the road. The video was uploaded on March 14 and had gone viral. While the biker says in the video, if it's Manju's father's road, she calmly replies it's my Mother's, Mother India's, following which she gets abused. However, she has been disappointed that the Bengaluru Traffic police are yet to even respond to this incident.
