"The Song of Bharat", the first song from "Bharat Ane Nenu", the upcoming political entertainer from the Blockbuster combo of "Srimanthudu", Superstar  Mahesh Babu and Hattrick director Koratala Siva, was released a few days back. The song has been penned by the popular lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry and has been set to tunes by the Rockstar Devi Sriprasad.

While listening to the tune and the powerful lines, one could observe that the well thought out lines to present the onscreen Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Bharat (played by Mahesh) clearly resonated with the charismatic offscreen leader, YS Jaganmohan Reddy. The song begins with Virachistha Nedey Navakasam - the birth of a New Era in the politics of Andhra Pradesh, with the rise of Jagan, and goes on to Ninadistha Nithyam Janahitham - will question and raise his voice for the people of Andhra, as Jagan has always been doing, right from his first analysis of the Polavaram Project, and witnessing its slow progress with the TDP in the helm of affairs, and questioning the moves with regards to the project, to the latest development being his decision to make his YSR Congress MPs to resign, if the central government pays dead ears to the long time request of granting special status to AP.

Ramajogayya garu elevates the levels of a rightful leader with his next line Naluperugani Sevey Abhimatham - takes one to the times when Congress wanted to tighten its grip over Andhra post the death of YS Chandrasekhar Reddy, and leveled corruption and disproportionate assets charges on Jagan, and the times when he decided to embark on a 'Naluperugani Seva' , a service to the people sans any kind of black marks or negatives /corruption or illegal activities, that has lead Jagan to his vision in serving the people, and willing to face any hurdles/obstacles/pains, "Kashtam Edaina Sammatham", taking one to the instance when Jagan had protested against the bifurcation of the state, and had gone on a hunger strike for more than 125 hours, impacting his health severely, with low sugar levels and blood pressure.

"Paalinchey Prabhuvunu Kaanani.. Sevinche Bantunu Nenani" - reflects how many people of Andhra love Jagan as their leader, just like they loved his father YSR, who, despite many charges framed against him, championed the cause of people and did many welfare activities for the state, and in a similar fashion, rather than being a dictator who sets terms and tightens grip over people, lashing them with force, Jagan is proving to be a selfless leader who serves his people, being one among them, as their Bantu. "Adhikaaram Ardham Idi Ani.. telisela Chesthaa Naa Pani" - while a lots of leaders take the law into hands, and misuse their powers and privileges for their selfish needs and amassing assets and properties, Jagan has been leading a political life, utilizing his political might to the fullest, setting an example of how and how not to exercise powers.

"Maaticha  nenee Pudamiki .. paatisthaa praanam chivariki" - the promise a leader makes to his motherland, and his never say die attitude and his willingness to even sacrifice himself, matching the steely resolve with which YSR then, and now Jagan work for the people of the state, followed by "Attaduguna Nalige Kalalaki..Balamivvani Padavulu Deniki" - clearly matching the ongoing war Jagan and YSRCP have been waging against the ruling BJP at the centre, the fight for dreams of the people, and considering their  Padavulu (post/ here the MP posts), Balamivvani Padavulu - a post that has not helped their cause of getting special category status to Andhra Pradesh, has been thrown away, after being rendered useless, powerless.

As David Simon powerfully renders, "Bharat Ane Nenu... Haami Isthunnanu.. Baadhyunnai Untanu.." one can hear to Jagan taking oath as a young and aspiring Chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, "Jagan Ane Nenu".. and be someone doing his job with dedication and devotion for the people, by the people, of the people as their Prathinidhi !! Wish the state reaches heights with the next leader on the rise.
