A Pune based man was arrested recently for molesting an air hostess of the Vistara flight. After the incident and following the filing of an FIR by the flight attendant, the passenger was arrested.
The man was later identified as 62 year old Rajeev Vasanth Dani and he was arrested for sexually harassing the vistara cabin crew attendant. The air hostess had complained that when the passengers were deplaning from Vistara flight number UK 997, he had sexually assaulted her, in Teminal 3 of Delhi Indira Gandhi International airport.
The 62 year old accused was handed
over to CISF. Vistara had said that it had made the necessary action after
complaints made by the flight attendant of UK 997 on March 24, and that Vistara
doesn't tolerate unruly or unethical behavior by passengers.
