The 2018 edition of Asia cup will be held in UAE, as per the latest developments in the sporting fraternity. It has been said that this decision had been arrived after a meeting of the Executive board members of Asian Cricket Council, at Kuala Lampur.
The Asia Cup 2018 will be held at Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, between September 15 to September 29, as revealed by a source close to the cricket body. It must be noted that the initial plan was to conduct the Asia cup matches in India, but the plan had to be modified, as India wasn't willing to host Pakistan Cricket Team, as announced by the Indian Government itself.
The ACC Presidentship will be handed
over to Bangladesh, during the Annual general meeting of ACC in Lahore, prior
to the Asia cup, and the presidentship in general is shared between Asian
cricketing nations. The final match will be played in Sri Lanka, while matches
with Pakistan and India involved will be played in the respective nations,
usually.
