According to sources ahead of 2018 Karnataka polls, Kannada rebel star and Congress MLA Ambareesh is hinting at launching his wife actress Sumalatha in politics. Meanwhile rumors of the Mandya MLA quitting congress have been doing the rounds; Sumalatha's political launch is now grabbing the headlines. Presently it is learnt that Ambareesh has requested the party high command to grant ticket to his wife instead of him.
Previously Ambareesh has been staying away from party activities. Besides, he has neither sought a party ticket not has the party high command ready to give him the ticket, but the congress high command has not rejected his ticket as it may create ruckus in the party politics.
Moreover as per reports, Karnataka Chief Minister
Siddaramaiah has been requesting the party for Ambareesh's party ticket as he
learnt that the congress party will lose the MLA seat if the party does not
give him ticket. Accordingly Ambareesh asked the party command to provide the
ticket for his wife as he has health issues. Further currently the party high
command is also not showing their interest for providing tickets to Badami MLA
along with Ambareesh.
