America's popular New York Times has reported that, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who often keeps Posting Twitter updates, becomes silent when it comes to issues of the public or women, or the downtrodden. The violence against women has been on an all-time high in India now. Especially, the violence and sexual abuse of the downtrodden sections of society has been increasing at an alarming rate, with numerous deaths as well.
Despite his very own BJP party members being linked with these, Modi is keeping quiet, reported New York Times. In its editorial, New York Times has reported that, Modi who often projects himself as an active Twitter user becomes quiet and inactive when it comes to issue related to women safety or the poor.
Even after knowing that his BJP members are behind
such acts, he never raises voice, and even in the recent death and rape of a
minor in Kashmir, he was silent, proving that Modi becomes silent when BJP
party does mistakes. New York Times further reported, these tainted men speak
among public, they prevent police charge sheet, and even in Uttar Pradesh rape
case, the victim's parent was killed. Modi has been silent all through, and
finally makes a template statement of no use, said New York times.
