Adilabad sources added that sunstroke deaths are on the rise with temperatures soaring in old Adilabad and Karimnagar districts. Earlier at 42OC on Monday, temperatures touched the highest of the season. Meanwhile as many as 15 persons died of sunstroke in the two districts in the last four days. Moreover of these, six deaths were reported in the last two days in old Adilabad district alone.



As per report sunstroke also claimed the lives of Golla Rajana, 65, of Dandepalli mandal headquarters, Atram Manik Rao, of Narsapur (J) in Utnoor mandal and Kothapelli Shnkaramma of Allipur in Dandepalli mandal.

Accordingly dehydration is a common complaint and moreover the hot temperatures coupled with heat waves have forced the people to confine themselves indoors and moreover many cardholders of NREGS are not going for work due to the hot weather conditions and lack of essential facilities like drinking water, medical kits and shade for resting at the work site.
