Being hit by a train, a school bus was damaged, leading to the death of 13 students in Uttar Pradesh. The incident happened in Kushi Nagar of Uttar Pradesh, when a school bus tried to cross an unmanned railway crossing, and the speeding train hit the school bus, killing the students.
The bus was thrown away at the instant it was hit by the train, and 13 students died on the spot. Investigations are being carried out on this issue. While there were a total of 30 children traveling in the bus, 13 were killed following heavy injuries, while 8 of them sustained major injuries.

Adityanath, upon getting to know the grievous situation, expressed his agony
and issued his condolences, and also directed his ministry to provide an ex
gratia of rupees two lakhs to the families of the deceased and also ordered an
immediate inquiry into the case. A similar incident has happened a month back
in Himachal Pradesh as well.
