As the flight in which Rahul Gandhi had travelled, had several issues, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had personally made a phone call to him to enquire on his well being. With the Karnataka State Assembly elections and the campaigning for the same going in full swing, members of both the BJP and congress are actively involved in activities for their party victory.
Rahul Gandhi was supposed to travel by a flight to Bengaluru, from Delhi. However his flight had some technical issues, and as the flight was flying at a height, it suddenly went down, and in a tilted way, and the pilots were unable to control the flight as well.
The pilots decided to immediately
land the flight, but they could not do it even after two attempts. In the third
attempt, they succeeded and landed the flight in Hubli airport. Hearing of the
issue, Rahul Gandhi was personally phoned by PM Narendra Modi, and Congress has
said that the PM had given much importance to the well-being of Rahul despite
the political rivalry.
