Tollywood’s actor Mahesh has avoided question on Special Category Status. Recently when media has asked him about his take on Special Category Status denied to Andhra Pradesh, Mahesh kept tight lipped and hasn't answered the question. Meanwhile director Koratala Siva, who was besides Mahesh, has covered up saying Mahesh would talk about it on bigger canvas, important dais.
Meanwhile since this was raised in a theatre in Tirupati where Mahesh was interacting with audience, media, Koratala Siva said this was not the place to talk about the Special Category Status. Further Guntur MP Galla Jayadev, who was accompanying Mahesh, speaking to media later said he doesn't want to talk politics there but reiterated that the state is waging a battle against Centre and asked everyone to come forward to join the movement.
Moreover Mahesh said he would never join politics
and said he would remain as film actor. When asked whether he would do any
folklore films, Mahesh said he is keen to do, but only when directors like
Rajamouli come up with such story. The actor said hereafter he would visit
Tirumala shrine every time after the release of his film, which is a big Mokku
Mahesh seems to have taken in Tirumala.
