Hyderabad sources stated that YSR Congress Party MLA RK Roja said that despite the TDP leaders being part of Union cabinet and enjoying their position for four years, they were unable to get the promises made in AP Bifurcation Act implemented. Meanwhile when speaking to media, Roja accused Chandrababu of misusing power for his own benefits.
Accordingly the YSRCP MLA pointed out that it was YSRCP which had been relentlessly fighting for Special Category Status (SCS) to AP for the last four years. Roja said "Chandrababu's one day fast was just to mislead the people and they too have understood it." Further Roja alleged that Chandrababu had conspired with Congress and framed false cases against YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Moreover the TDP Chief has successfully diluted the SCS issue over the last four years, Roja said. She said that the AP CM's 12 hour fast was like a cinema audio function and hence he would be fooling people once again on April 30 in Tirupati in the name of Dharma Porata Deeksha. Finally she said "But the people are considering it as TDP Leaders' Fools Day."
