Gujarat Chief minister Vijay Rupani has become a center of controversy following his statement that Narada was the Google of olden days, as he knew everything. It was during the Devarishi Narada Jayanthi held at Vishwa Samwath Kendra in Ahmedabad that the CM let out such a statement.
He said that Narada has been referred to in Vedas. He went on to add that, just like the popular search engine Google, Narada knew everything in the world, and that he was the one who said every news and facts to the whole world. Recently, Tripura CM Biplav Deb had got himself embroiled into a web of controversy after he said that Internet had been there since the days of the epic Mahabharatha.
Biplav had also told youngsters to
opt for putting up Paan shops rather than wait for government jobs. Last year,
even the leader of BJP Amit Shah, had told youth to earn by selling Pakodas.
The BJP leaders and their statements that make a joke out of senses of the
people have been a matter of concern of late.
