In an unexpected manner, there have been heavy rains in different parts of Bangalore, and the people of the city have been rejoicing the weekend with a cold climate due to unprecedented rainfall. Currently, summer has been at its peaks impacting the southern states.
Especially, states like Tamilnadu and Andhra Pradesh have been the most affected with extreme hot climate impacting the daily lives. Even the mostly cool Bangalore had been witnessing extreme heat for the past few days. In this scenario, much to the relief of the people of Bangalore they've been witnessing heavy rainfall in different parts of the city.
While the
meteorological department had said 2 months back itself that there'll be heavy
rains in April, the past two days had witnessed rains. With yesterday having
rains only in Hubli without impacting the elections, today there was heavy
rainfall in regions like Santhi Nagar, Koramangala, silk board, Jayanagar, BTM,
Bansankari, Indranagar, and MG road. Besides Bangalore, various parts of
Karnataka in general have been receiving heavy rains.
