Vishal is facing some heat against a section of Tamil film producers as they lashed out the actor and questioned him on various issues. A few days back, a whistleblower website alleged that Vishal had struck a deal with Lyca Productions and that has been the main reason behind.
Various Producers lashed out Vishal as he had struck a deal with Lyca Productions who are behind the domain names of several websites that released pirated movies. One of the producers, K Rajan asked, "How can Vishal head the Producer's Council when he doesn't produce any movies?"
Director Bharathiraja said only a Tamilan should head the Producer's Council and Vishal is a Telugu guy. Former TFPC Secretary Radhakrishnan said, "It has been 14 months since Vishal won the elections. But so far he hasn't delivered even one of his promises. On the contrary, the whole industry is facing losses."
