Black shirt demonstration by the Samaikhyandra employees marked the agitation in the Secretariat today.Over 2000 employees of seemandhra today wore blask shirts, black sarees and branded the Congress and Telangana seekers as black. In spite of ESMA being enforced their strengh has been the fact that the CM Kiran was fully in support of Samaikhyandra agitation and d emand.
Government functioning has come to a standstill in the secretariat with over 90 percent section offices and HoDs joining the agitation .As per agitation guidelines, the employees come to office by 11.00 AM, sign registers, attend agitation demos , come to seat after lunch and just leave without opening any files .
A spokesman of the Chief secretary office said Government has invoked the GO 177 read with new memo No-238 enforcement of Pay for work and work to rule and also mentioned ESMA on employees who planned full scale strike from September 2.
However secretariat canteen , tea stall and also fruit sellers have reported a massive sale in view of fact that the employees have more time to loiter outside their offices .
