BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu today described the indian economy in his own cherubic style as ' Rupee on Ventilator and Dollar on Escalator '. BJP leader said that in 2004 the congress government's economic survey to parliament had described the economy as resilient but today the parliament has been told that perhaps 1991 situation would come .
Naidu blasted Sonia Gandhi for launching the Food security scheme without parliament approval and at a cost of Rs. 1.25 lakh crore to exchequer even after Chidambaram had made a cut of Rs.1.25 lakh crore in last years budget .' Inspite of huge deficit , UPA Government spent huge sums on issuing ads on Rajiv anniversay yesterday .TOI got 19 ads and HT 18 from government departments etc at huge costs of Rs.1000 crore in all ;' he said .
