The hype surrounding the search for new capital is seeing no bounds. The excitement is keeping everyone in Seemandhra including the politicians doing the guessing game for the simple fact that the proposed new capital region will immediately see a mad rush of real estate middle men and biggies.
However due to the ongoing Seemandhra agitation, the life has almost come to a standstill in the region including hundreds of government offices and employees. The revenue departments has received instructions from Central and state governments to do the survey for a new capital round Vizag, Vijayawada-Guntur and Prakasam district.
But the agitation has pushed even revenue departments officials out of work onto streets and sources say that the agitators are specially targeting this department and now the work has reportedly come to a halt regarding identifying lands for new capital. The information has been conveyed to state government which has relayed it to Union government!
