Thane and almost the whole of Mumbai have been witnessing heavy rains since yesterday night, and this has caused heavy water logging in many places and this has ultimately resulted impacting the transports like suburban trains, and impacting the normalcy of office goers. However, the Mumbaikars weren't impacted more by the never ending rains.
While floods had resulted in collapse of walls in Wadala, and death of at least 3 people across the city, Mumbaikars made the troublesome situation humorous. in Twitter. One of the twitter users took it to his account to post a collage of water logged Mumbai, calling it Aqua Mumbaica, and that the world's biggest water park is open now, making a joke of the pathetic situation.
Another user had posted a rule number 101 to be followed during rains, to not use the road when tyre can't be seen. Congress MP Abhishek Sanghvi had posted a tweet wishing the people of Mumbai and saying that the BJP rule lead b Dev Fadnavis and Nitin Gadkari have developed inland waterways in Mumbai. Another user had advised people to eat Bhajiya , while one more user called Mumbai rains and water logging as soul mates. Mumbai police too had tweeted that they are available all time to keep the people safe and protected.
