Mumbai sources added that an attempt towards raising awareness about people living with HIV, a 16 year old girl stood on the streets of Uzbekistan, with a simple request to strangers, "She is HIV positive, Hug Her!" Meanwhile a video posted by UNICEF on Twitter shows something that may bring a lump in viewers' throats and the video has managed to pull the heartstrings of many on Twitter.



Accordingly Azima, 16, was looking to change people's perceptions about those living with HIV in Uzbekistan. Moreover the video sees her saying, "She had been living with HIV for 10 years now. All is fine, and she is enjoying life." She goes on to add, and her purpose is to spread the message that people living with HIV are not a danger." Recently Azima is then seen waiting next to a placard with request for hugs, where one by one, complete strangers can be seen walking up to her and embracing here.

Moreover as people from all ages and backgrounds come forward to hug her, the text on the video reads as "There are only three main ways of contracting HIV through blood, unprotected sex and from mother to child and HIV is not transmitted when you hug and kiss, say hello, shake hands, share lunch." Moreover since being posted, the video has been viewed 70 thousand times and has been liked over 4 thousand times.
