A pickpocket caught amidst the crowd gathered outside Kaveri hospital where DMK supremo M Karunanidhi's has been admitted and is critical, has created a huge shock among public and DMK cadre. After DMK chief Karunanidhi's health had deteriorated initially on Sunday evening, by night his health had stabilized, and doctors announced that he was recovering and was getting better.
Karunanidhi's has been constantly monitored by doctors and he's given continuous treatment. Yesterday chief minister of Tamilnadu Edappadi Palanisamy had visited Kaveri hospital along with deputy chief minister O Panneerselvam to enquire on the health of DMK chief Karunanidhi and later said that he's getting better and is doing good, responding to treatment.
Besides actor Suriya and his father Sivakumar had also visited the hospital yesterday. During CM and the actor's visit, there was an extreme crowd around the hospital, and one person, a thief had taken advantage of the situation and entered the crowd. Using the sentimental and emotional state of supporters, he had penetrated the crowd and tried to steal wallets and money from people but was eventually caught by DMK cadre and handed over to police. This incident of a thief penetrating an emotional crowd of DMK supporters worried over their leader Karunanidhi's health has left them in shock.
