Appan Tirupathi police have filed cases under five sections of IPC on BJP Tamilnadu leader H Raja.  TN BJP leader H Raja who had participated in a Hindi Munnani meeting in Dindigul district's Vedachandur, had spoken in the meeting and during his speech had lashed out at the Hindi Endowments and Charity department of the government, its employees and the women of their families.

 


Opposing his derogatory speech, and his foul words, officers of the department have been on a nonstop protest against him and demanding his arrest throughout the state, and on September 27, the officers of the department have planned a hunger strike in Chennai.

In such a scenario, the Appan Tirupathi police station cases have been filed under 5 IPC sections as per the complaint of the Kallalagar Temple deputy commissioner Marimuthu. The fact that the complaint has been given by police itself has become significant and it is expected that H Raja will be behind the bars soon.
